Basic Oil Painting Knowledge and Canvas Preparation - English Subtitles Difficulty:▮▮▯▯▯▯ $69USD
Basic Oil Painting Knowledge and Canvas Preparation is the material foundation of the Lo Chan Peng Painting System. It is designed for students who want to understand how canvas, ground, paint, color, and time shape a painting before moving into more advanced pictorial methods.
This course introduces oil painting materials, color theory, canvas preparation, water-based ground, oil ground, and the basic working principles that determine how oil paint behaves over time. Many problems that appear later in a painting begin much earlier: with an unsuitable surface, an unclear material choice, or a misunderstanding of how paint, absorbency, and layering interact.
This course gives students a more disciplined beginning. Instead of treating materials as secondary accessories, it teaches them as the first structural layer of the painting itself.
Mandarin Chinese audio with Chinese and English subtitles.
